performance criteria but
has a significantly
thicker wall section at
the packing nut thread
area but packing nut,
stem and valve external
dimensions identical to
the standard valve
design.
Lubricant on stem
threads area
ensures good service
life and ease of
operation.
Spindle hardness at the
shank is kept above 90
points on Rockwell B
scale to offer
resistance against
twisting of the stem
square upto a torque of
80-85 ft-pound. (Against
CI maximum allowable
torque of 40 ft-pound).
Valves compatible with
the CI open and closed
Yokes with adaptors and
most automatic closure
devices.
