Series CAV - 06

Product Features

  • Valves certified by BAM Berlin to meet design and test requirements of EN ISO 10297:2006 for TP 50 Bar and can be supplied with '' stamp.

  • Valves for the North American market manufactured to Chlorine Institute P-17 design and test requirements including dimensional requirements of Drg. 112/9, 113/8, 110/4,185/6 and 195/2. Also complies with all test requirements of CGA V-9 and CGA S.1.1.

  • Chlorine valves also available in ¾” bore design satisfying CI alternate valve performance criteria but with a thicker wall section at the packing nut thread area of the valve body and externally identical to the CI P-17 valve design.

  • Use of Krytox GPL-225 lubricant on acme stem threads and packing area ensures good service life and ease of operation.

  • Spindle hardness at the shank is kept above 90 points on Rockwell B scale to offer resistance against twisting of the stem square upto a torque of 80-85 ft-pound. (Against CI maximum allowable torque of 40 ft-pound).

  • Valves compatible with the CI open and closed Yokes with adaptors and most automatic closure devices.

  • Cylinder valves compatible with Chlorine Institute Emergency kit A hood devices.

  • Ton container valves compatible with Chlorine Institute Emergency kit B hood devices.

  • Valve reseating tools, depth gauges, Chlorine Institute recommended Yokes and wrenches are available.
