Can
be supplied with '' mark in requirement
of European Directive
1999/36/EC.
Design provides O-ring
backed by high durometer
elastomer back up ring
for external tightness.
Thrust washer between
the top spindle collar
and gland nut further
protects the O-ring at
high pressure. Gland nut
abutts at the inner end
with the valve body
ensuring permanent metal
to metal seal and
reliable external
tightness.
Valve design
additionally tested for
seat lift off (endurance
test in reverse
direction) and salt
spray test as per ISO
9227:2006.
Spindles machined from
naval brass for
toughness and wear
resistance. Bottom
spindle threads, thrust
washer, 'O' ring and
back up ring are
lubricated by compatible
lubricant to eliminate
seizing and galling.
Valve body withstands
impact strength of 400 J
making it suitable for
cylinder package mass of
111 kgs if used without
valve guard.
Valves may be provided
with Pressure relief
device (PRD), primarily
CG-1 type safety disc as
per customer
requirement.
