Product Features

  • Design is highly reliable O-ring seal, not requiring any spring in the operating mechanism. Small bearing surface of thrust washer results in exceptionally low torque operation under full service pressure.

  • Meets EN ISO 10297:2006 for working pressure up to 200 Bar and CGA V-9-2005 for Maximum service pressure of 3000 psig, tested and certified by BAM Berlin and available with '' mark as per EU directive TPED 1999/36/EC.

  • Packing nut abutts at the inner end with the valve body to make metal to metal seal. This puts the packing nut into compressive stress and reduces risk of stress corrosion cracking.

  • O-ring is provided in the valve body for secondary protection against leakage past the packing nut threads in case of external impact of cylinders.

  • In addition to the top stem collar preventing ejection of the stem, the top stem and packing nut are machined with a step for additional protection in the event of shear cracking of the collar/flange.

  • EPDM O-ring and high durometer back up ring provided on top stem groove provides reliable external tightness around the stem.

  • The design does not use any fluorinated polymers in gas wetted duty with toxic combustion products. No “flaking” observed with Nylon 66 thrust washer resulting in excellent cycle life.

  • Valve body machined from high tensile brass offering greater strength and wear resistance. Stems machined from tough and wear resistant Naval Brass.

  • As per Clause 4.3 of EN ISO 10297:2006, wetted parts including top stem are not chrome plated, thereby preventing plating particles from chipping off and damaging threads, seating surface and seals.

  • For oxygen service CG-4 capsule design PRD for Oxygen service as per CGA S.1.1-2007 uses Copper gasket for permanent seal with tamper proof T-30 Star drive.

  • Valves with parallel threads provided with double O-ring configuration in the valve inlet.

  • Hytrel coated Brass toggle designed to minimize impact on packing nut.
